Digital Nation: Renewable Energy seminar

Knowledge Oasis Muscat (www.kom.om) hosted its quarterly Digital Nation Seminar, Monday, 5 October at Muscat's Grand Hyatt Hotel, where TA's CEO Raza Ashraf was chairing and moderating a panel of speakers discussing Renewable Energy (further information), its use, implications, benefits and how it can be promoted and brought about for greater use in Oman and the Middle East. Members of the panel included Dr Simon Wilson, Craig Tucker (Oman Botanical Gardens), and Rayan Al-Kalbani (Mazoon Environmental Services).

WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organisation) International Seminar On  The Strategic Use Of Intellectual Property For Economic And Social Development held from April 29 – May 3, 2006 at the Grand Hyatt Musact .  Raza Ashraf, TA's CEO, was invited to present a paper on IPR and how it is being used for economic and social development in Oman from a corporate perspective.  Raza presented real issues facing companies and people in the business environment and in the field of IT.

Newsflash
